Tate Wilson, owner and chief consultant at Eliza Tate Events, is passionate about creating events that surpass all expectations. She possesses a rare combination of creative spirit and business savvy that allows her to stretch a client’s vision and budget to new heights.

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Tate attended the University of Virginia, and as a religious studies major, gained a unique perspective on the importance that each religion places on celebrations with family and friends. After moving back to her hometown, she sought to put this knowledge to use and guide others in the art of celebration.  With several years of experience as an event planner and marketing coordinator, she decided to launch Eliza Tate Events.

Through Eliza Tate Events, Tate brings a unique perspective to event planning in the mid-south. Her love of design in all forms serves her well when seeking to create events that leave lasting impressions. Art, fashion, and architecture are all sources of inspiration, but the most important sources are the clients with whom she works. Her greatest pleasure comes in sharing her exuberance and developing relationships with each client to ensure that every detail of an event becomes a lasting memory.
